Riyadh, KSA – i2, the region’s largest and most diverse mobile phone provider has launched a summer-long promotion in the Kingdom that starts on July 19and concludes with the grand prize draw on October 15, with a lucky winner walking away with 15kg of gold worth approximately SR1 million.

“i2 distributes handsets to numerous retailers throughout the Kingdom, allowing customers to have wider access to our products and the opportunity to win SR 1 million worth of gold” explained Adbul Hameed Al Sunaid, President of i2. “Those who want to participate should visit any i2 store or the closest mobile phone retailer and inquire about the i2 promotion”.

Those who purchase a mobile phone between July 19th and September 15th from any i2 outlet in the Kingdom, will be entitled to a scratch and win card accompanied by a leaflet explaining the mechanics of the promotion. Everyone will win an instant prize, and will automatically qualify to win one of the two monthly draws for 3 kg of gold, or the grand prize draw for 15 kg of gold.

In addition to the generous gifts of gold, i2 will be presenting winners with a range of instant prizes including gold coins, Nokia enhancements, vouchers and ring tones. “We launched this promotion to give customers more for their money, and give them a chance to win a grand prize that will probably change their lives forever, together with convenient instant prizes that accommodate customers’ mobile needs”, stated Jihad El Eit, Vice President of Marketing of i2.
